What is ALE?

It is the “Additional Living Expenses” portion of your Homeowners Insurance Policy. In the case of a disaster at home, this means that you will not be out of pocket for any expense (i.e. hotel, temporary housing, furniture) that would not have been an expense had the disaster not happened.
